We are in Gulf Shores, Alabama, for Spring Break. We rented ourselves a condo unit at a large complex called the Beach Club. We’re on the 11th floor, with nice views of the Gulf of Mexico. We are west of the actual town of Gulf Shores, wisely out of earshot of the spring break revelers, about halfway down the barrier island to Fort Morgan. It was very windy when we arrived, and a bit on the cool side. But the weather has improved every day, and we’ve actually been swimming the last couple days.
The moon was full last night, but the sky is clearer tonight. I’ve never tried a nighttime panorama before, but the ambient light from the complex, plus the full moon, plus the oil rigs on the horizon were sublime. I decided to go for it. Not bad! I must do more moonlight panos.
No famous people are immortalized in this shot. They were upstairs, maybe out on the balcony.
